Changing from the way most producers were raising cattle on the Central Coast, the Nick family members followed Fred's lead and began working together to raise Certified Organic Grass Fed Grass Finished Beef-from the ground up.
Studying the soil and grasses, while testing the genetics of their cow herd to be sure that they would finish on a grass diet, the Nick family became the 1st livestock producers in SLO County to become Certified Organic.
